Project
The Medical and Dental Health Clinic project was built for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast. It included the addition, demolition, renovation, and new construction of 11 two-story buildings on the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Belle Chasse, LA.
The facility houses the Child Development Center, Applied Instruction Facility, Military Entrance Processing Station, a combined administrative building, and a general administration building. The project featured the renovation and addition of the medical and dental building, expansion of the library, and new fitness center addition.
This project achieved LEED Silver Certification from the US Green Building Council for sustainability and energy efficiency. The Medical and Dental Health Clinic project effectively now provides a fully restored and centralized location for personnel operations for Louisiana Air National Guard after the damage of Hurricane Katrina.
