Project
The CoxHealth Emergency Department project, built as a joint venture with Beck Group, included the new construction of a 78,000 square foot emergency room addition to the existing CoxHealth South Hospital located in Springfield, MO. The addition was constructed utilizing a structural steel frame and an exterior consisting of metal panels, metal veneer, and curtain walls. A modified bituminous standing seam roof completed the construction.

The facility houses 62 beds, dedicated pediatric and adult trauma rooms, critical care rooms, two psychiatric safe rooms, and a full radiology suite. The project also features advanced imaging, laboratory services, and state-of-the-art disaster management facilities as well as a dedicated pharmacy, a monitored cardiac observation unit, and an emergency ambulatory entrance.
